ACAT’s Responses to Consultation Papers ACAT seeks to represent its members by representing churches when Government asks for responses to its proposed changes ion Legislation.  We do this by representation on certain HMRC Committees - e.g., the working group that has been looking at simplifying Gif Aid Declarations, and by responding in detail to proposals to change the law or Charity Commission practice.
