ACAT’s Training Newsletter
November 2024

Hi Guest,
Welcome to our November Training Newsletter!
As November’s chill sets in and the heating goes on, it’s tempting to hibernate—if only we were hedgehogs! Instead, many of us find ourselves busy in our churches, preparing for the Christmas season. From delivering the Christmas invitations to organising mince pies and planning services, there’s plenty to keep us active.
Meanwhile, ACAT’s autumn training programme is drawing to a close, with only three courses remaining: two in November and one in December. First, we’re offering our Being a Treasurer: The Basics course — a comprehensive, three-session guide covering the essential responsibilities of a church treasurer. Then we have our Introduction to Being a Church Trustee, a concise, hour-long course perfect for anyone new to or considering the trustee role. Finally, our Gift Aid course will provide a clear understanding of the Gift Aid system, helping churches make the most of this valuable scheme.
We hope there’s something here to support you and your church as we approach this busy season.
God bless,
Cath Fox Administration Officer (Training)
