Liberty Accounts makes software available for free during COVID-19 pandemic

ONE of ACAT’s Partners in Ministry – Liberty Accounts – is making its services available to all church treasurers for FREE in April and May.

Liberty Accounts provides cloud accounting and payroll software and specialises in supporting the not-for-profit sector.

The company has decided to make its software available without a charge to ALL not-for-profit organisations to help them during the coronavirus pandemic.

When asked why the company had taken this decision, a spokesman for the company told ACAT: “As a result of COVID-19 many organisations across the UK are facing uncertain times.

“This will be particularly true in the next couple of months as cash flow becomes a serious problem.

“While everyone will be affected, the not-for-profit sector is likely to be hardest hit.

“We want to offer our support to these organisations until things return to a degree of normality in the summer.”

Liberty Accounts’ software supports: fund accounting; Statement of Financial Activity reporting; donor ledgers; Gift Aid claim filing; and the return of Parish Finance reports for the Anglican Church.

ACAT’s Partners in Ministry are those organisations that have been involved with us in various ways for many years.

Their underlying purpose is to support and serve the administration of the church and we collaborate with them to make treasurers and administrators aware of their services.

Liberty Accounts is offering its service for free to both existing and new clients.
