Congratulations to Whiteshill Evangelical Church for winning a £100 donation in our recent easyfundraising competition.
The church intends to put the money towards a large roof repair bill.
ACAT launched the competition with our new Partner in Ministry earlier this summer. To enter, churches simply had to register with easyfundraising before the end of July.
More than 3,000 churches nationally are now using easyfundraising to keep money coming in during these unprecedented times.
With easyfundraising, your congregation can raise money either by generating donations through shopping online or by sending a donation via their credit or debit card.
easyfundraising is completely free to use for everyone and provides a valuable income source for churches while face-to-face fundraising is restricted.
Deacon Paul of Whiteshill Church said: “I would recommend it as a simple way of obtaining additional donations – after all from small acorns grow the big oak trees.”

Those who wish to discover more might be interested in a webinar being presented by easyfundraising’s Parnerships Manager Roisin Lyons as part of the ACAT 2020 ‘Virtual’ Conference.
On Thursday, October 8, at 4pm, Roisin will demystify this online fundraising option for church treasurers.
Treasurers will find out how their congregation can generate donations for their church whilst making their usual online purchases – as well as how they can access a completely platform fee free donation feature.
Roison said: “This will be an ideal opportunity for treasurers to learn how to get their church started, how to help their supporters get on board with lots of tools and how to keep funds coming in during these unprecedented times.
“If your church already take part in the scheme there will be an option to ask questions and find out about new features too.”
There will also be opportunity to pose Roisin questions at the end.
Tickets for the easyfundraising’s webinar entitled “A guide to generating free income online using easyfundraising” at the ACAT 2020 Conference cost just £10 and are available HERE.
