Charities Act 2022: what does it mean for charities?

In February, the Charities Bill received Royal Assent and passed into law as the Charities Act 2022. This Act implements recommendations made by the Law Commission in a 2017 report, and brings a number of important changes to charity law.

Do you know what the changes are?

Do you know the impact they may have on your charity?

As the Act is implemented gradually over the next 12 months, ACAT will be keeping it’s members up-to-date with the changes and how they may impact you.

If you would like to find out more about the key provisions of the Act, Stone King is offering a free webinar about the changes. Although not specifically aimed at churches, they will give you an overview of the Act and help you to see what changes are being made and how they may affect your church.
