ACIE to host webinar on ‘Receipts and Payments Accounts’

THE Association of Charity Independent Examiners – ACIE – is hosting a webinar on ‘Receipts and Payments Accounts’ in February.
One of ACAT’s longstanding Partners in Ministry, ACIE works on behalf of those who carry out independent examination by providing support and information.
The one hour course will cover the legislative requirements and practical issues before discussing where problems arise. It will conclude with a question and answer session.
The webinar will takes place on Tuesday, February 9, between 11am and 12noon and will be led by Mark Heaton.
In addition to being highly knowledgeable on the subject, Mark is both a Trustee and Deputy Chair of ACIE.
Receipts and Payments Accounting is a way of summarising all receipts (the cash coming into the parish, such as Sunday giving, special collections, other gifts of money etc.) and all payments (namely the cash going out of the parish, such as electricity, giving to other good causes etc.) while also including a list the assets (owned by the PCC) and liabilities (owed by the PCC) at the year end.

The cost is £40 for non-members and £20 for those who belong to ACIE.
