We have recently registered as a charity; is there anything we should be doing?

We recently registered as a CIO. Do we need to do anything more than show our Registered Charity Number?

A church activity has been delegated to an individual or group, who is receiving payments and spending money on the activity. Do they need to keep their own records and do we need to see them?
