Hi Guest,
Like many of you, I started Lent yesterday – a time to pause, reflect and prepare. A time to draw closer to God, to consider what really matters and to make space for renewal in our lives. Whether you mark Lent with prayer, fasting (I’m giving up bread… with caveats!) or acts of kindness, I hope it brings you a fresh sense of purpose and peace.
We have two training courses left this term: our Being a Treasurer: The Basics course for those looking to learn the foundations of the role, and our Introduction to Trusteeship course, which offers a simple overview of what it means to be a trustee.
We are now looking ahead to what training we offer between Easter and the summer, and beyond. We hope to offer another Basics and another Gift Aid course as well as some others.
Please do let me if there is anything in particular that would be helpful. If there is a new subject area that is of interest then we will need time to develop the course, but it is good to know what assistance our members would like.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Gift Aid course originally scheduled for this evening has been postponed to Thursday, 3rd April 2025, from 6-9 PM. If you are already booked to attend this course, please check your emails for instructions. If you are not already booked, bookings have re-opened and will close on the first of April.
Thanks for all you do in your church, and I pray you feel encouraged and equipped as you serve.
Stay warm, and God bless!
